After releasing on well known Alg-a Netlabel, Fonseca delivers the next step on his personal approach on sound composition. This time we are getting closer to the work of Valencian sound artist Josué Coloma. Under his alias Alozeau, Coloma presents a five track EP entitled Returning Waves. After having released at Coda Netlabel and Chennoir Netlabel, Alozeau presents a synthetic album that explores small topics in each track. It seems that every composition on this album has a concrete topic and theme that is been repeated all along. Despite this consideration the album tells a story that is shifting at every stop. At certain point Alozeau dares to twist our auditory perception with a short track that changes the whole pace of the album, generating some sort of crossroad that will lead us to the final track, Returning Waves. Después de dos años de actividad ininterrumpida, el ciclo finalizó su actividad. A lo largo de los dos años de vida artistas de Valencia y el resto del estado, participaron en los conciertos conformando una iniciativa única en el ámbito de la música experimental y electrónica en Valencia. El ciclo Herzios ha sido ámpliamente reconocido por medios locales y nacionales y ha recibido el apoyo de muchos artistas emergentes. We are happy to host a small part of the extensive oeuvre done by this artist from Barcelona. For this 30th release on Audiotalaia we have a two pieces EP keeping the essence of sustainer's project. There is a topic, a concept a theme and there is a kindness composing all those sustained lines of drones that had become a trade mark for Alex Alarcón. A few years ago Alarcón recorded a wall piano. He asked a friend to play sustained notes allowing the sound to disappear slowly. After those sessions recording the piano, Alarcón had been using that material in some live sessions and concert. This investigation parts from a sentence that Alejandro read. Te text talked about an ambient music release and the author described the hearing experience as if "you can't dance this music, it's like sitting on a Glacier and waiting to se how it melts down". So Eemian is this, is an abstract approach on how a glacier should sound like. Moreover, the album has always direct references to those nature phenomena, all tracks are named referencing famous glaciers over the world. After many releases in labels all around the world this ambient experimental artist presents Flora & Fauna at Audiotalaia. This short EP has been produced using different soundscapes and field recordings from cities such as Stockholm (Sweden) and Berlin (Germany). Slow combines an abstract approach on sound experimentation with layers of recorded soundscapes. The mix of non controlled sound sources with the controllable scope of electronic sound provides an interesting space in which textures, drones and more musical structures merge together forming a strange atmosphere of introspection.
